Yves Saint Laurent Eau De Parfum Spray for Women, Black Opium, 3 Ounce,90ML

Opium is undoubtedly the most famous fragrance from the Yves Saint Laurent perfume brand. The original Opium was launched in 1977; it is a luxurious, intense oriental fragrance. Its modern version was launched in 2009, featuring a refreshingly new design. Among the various recent releases, the following younger successors are particularly noteworthy: the blue Belled’Opium from 2010, and the delicate pink Opium Vapeurs de Parfum from 2012. In September 2014, Yves Saint Laurent will launch Black Opium, a rock-inspired interpretation of the classic Opium fragrance that highlights the brand’s deep, mysterious side. Head perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne, in collaboration with perfumers Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc, have crafted this fragrance. The composition features: a generous dose of coffee, which dominates the entire scent. This is complemented by notes of pink pepper, orange blossom, jasmine, vanilla, musk and cedar. The bottle design follows the aesthetic of the previous Opium fragrance. The bottle itself is dark in colour, accented with glitter, lending the fragrance a striking rock-and-roll flair.
